Today I love Bekah

I realize I may be getting myself into quite the little quandary if I don't mention ALL the people I love, so I may have to get creative towards the end of the month.  Just know you all know who you are:-)

Today I love Bekah.

We met in the summer of 2010 when were in a production of Bye Bye Birdie together - she as Rosie and me as Kim.  Oh the irony that I am 5+ years older than her and her character was 10 or so years older than the one I was playing.  These things make me giggle.

She helped make my experience that summer a total dream-come-true through all of her support and encouragement.  She helped me learn to believe in myself and in sharing my talents.   One perfect summer evening, after a little preview performance in the park, we saw Toy Story 3, stayed up late giggling about boys, and had a little sleepover at her place...the bond was sealed:-)

I don't get to see Bekah so often these days, but she always checks in with me and we keep each other posted about all the goings-on in our lives.  You know how sometimes there is a person whom you see that, without a word, they make you smile all over?  She is a symbol of so many wonderful things that happened in my "perfect summer."  When I think, "Bekah," I hear her beautiful laughter.  Even better, she is always up for giving me sagely and timely advice and letting me know she loves me.

I love you, Bekah!
