Strong

I was told today I am a strong personality who is honest and tells it like it is, not a chameleon "people pleaser."

I'm not quite sure how to take that. Is it good or bad? I always thought I was a "people pleaser." And I normally, in my politically correct lingo, refer to rude people as people who "tell it like it is."

I'm stumped.

There's a way to be forthright and honest without being rude. I haven't found it yet, but I'm still looking.

Generally, a people pleaser is someone who makes it a point to please everyone through whatever means neccessary. You do make people happy, but you don't do so by telling half-truths or exaggerations like a "people pleaser" might do. You are honest, but not blunt. In fact, you're very tactful, which is what I'm hoping they really meant to say. By no means do you come off as rude. Hope this helps.
